Speak out with OCFP in media and have your voice heard
The OCFP works with media to raise issues that impact family doctors and their patients. To have the most impact, media need to speak directly to family doctors, however, it is important for anyone speaking to the media to understand and practice the most effective ways to answer questions during an interview.
The OCFP’s MainPro+ certified media training program offers family doctors the opportunity to:
- Identify the value and importance of delivering a clear, effective message tailored to the stakeholders they are speaking to, with a clear objective.
- Learn to apply participants past experience as a communication tool to define the importance of comprehensive family doctors as the quarterback of care for the people of Ontario.
- To define the current challenges that are impacting the health of patients in Ontario and what explain potential solutions to be implemented.
