Osteoporosis and Fracture Prevention Workshop – October 2026

Join this interactive workshop to build your skills in the assessment, treatment and prevention of osteoporosis-related fractures in primary care. Through expert-led discussion, case-based learning and practical clinical tools, participants will explore evidence-informed approaches to fracture risk assessment, BMD interpretation, treatment selection and ongoing patient management. Attendees will leave with actionable resources and strategies that can be applied immediately in practice.

Reflective Follow-Up Meeting: Date to be confirmed (this will follow the October 14th workshop date)
The 1 hour online reflective follow-up meeting will provide an opportunity to revisit real‑world challenges and successes after implementing the strategies covered in the workshop. Participants can bring forward any questions or uncertainties that emerged in their workflow. Attendance is optional. Those who participate will receive an additional 1.0 Mainpro+® credits.
This activity has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for one credit per hour for up to 6.0 Mainpro+® Certified Activity credits (this includes the follow-up meeting).
