Breakfast Series on Innovative Approaches to Optimizing Teams
Learn from Family Physicians. Discover Practical Solutions. Build Capacity in Your Practice.
Family physicians across Ontario are facing increasing pressures related to access, continuity of care, administrative burden, patient attachment, and workforce challenges. At the same time, many physicians and teams are finding innovative solutions to provide care, creating greater capacity while preserving comprehensive, longitudinal family medicine.
The Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP) is pleased to present a six-part virtual Breakfast Series on Innovative Approaches to Optimizing Teams, designed to showcase practical, real-world experiences from family physicians in different team settings across the province.
Rather than focusing on theory or a single model of team-based care, this series highlights the experiences of physicians who have successfully implemented new approaches to workflow, clinical support, delegation, administration, collaboration, and leadership within their own settings. Through candid conversations, panelists will share what worked, what didn’t, and the lessons they learned along the way.
Whether you work within a fully funded Interprofessional Primary Care Team (IPCT), have access to shared resources, or practice with limited team supports, you’ll gain practical insights that can be adapted to your own context.
