Biography

Merrilee Brown is a rural physician in Port Perry, ON where she has delivered babies, worked in the ER, taken care of hospital inpatients and performed palliative care in hospice, hospitals and homes for 25 years.

She has taught a generation of medical students and residents, and has mentored many trainees and colleagues.

She loves to hike, ski and cook for a large number of people.

Communities Served

Dr. Brown serves a town of 10, 000 in a catchment area of 60,000 north east of Toronto in a primarily agricultural area.
