Practical Assessment and Management of TMJ Pain in Family Medicine

Patients frequently present to family physicians with jaw pain, facial discomfort and functional limitations, yet identifying the cause and determining appropriate management can be challenging. This session will provide a practical approach to assessing TMJ pain, developing a differential diagnosis and initiating evidence-informed treatment. Participants will learn when conservative measures such as patient education and physiotherapy are appropriate, and when referral for specialized interventions may be needed.

This Community of Practice includes a series of planned webinars. Each session is worth 1 Mainpro+Ⓡcredits, for up to a total of 12 credits.
