Become a Peer Learner
What is a Peer Learner?
A Peer Learner is a family physician or family medicine resident seeking support in a specific clinical or practice area offered by the mentorship program.
As a Peer Learner, you’ll connect with a Peer Guide, a fellow family physician, to collaboratively identify and develop your strengths, building on existing skills to find practical solutions to complex issues.
By taking part as a participant, you will:
- Earn Mainpro+ credits for the time spent meeting with your Peer Guide (1-credit-per-hour for up to 18 credits)
- Receive support in caring for your patients
- Gain skills to empower patients facing difficult and challenging issues
- Achieve goals that are meaningful to you and your journey as a physician
- Stay up to date with the latest tools and knowledge to support your practice
There is no cost to participate in this program.
