Online reporting of Mainpro+ credits is mandatory for all members and is completed using the CFPC’s portal. In order to fulfill the Mainpro+ reporting requirements, members must submit a minimum of 250 credits in each five-year cycle. In addition, during the five-year cycle:
At least 125 credits must be Certified and/or Certified Assessment credits, of which at least 10 must be Certified Assessment credits.
The remaining 125 credits may be certified or non-certified.
A minimum of 25 credits (of any type) must be earned and reported annually
Direct credit entry activities (credits) will be automatically applied to your account within 4-8 weeks of the session.
Please note that the impact assessment is no longer mandatory and therefore, all direct credit entry activities are applied directly to the member’s account and no longer go to the holding area.
The CFPC Mainpro+ Credit Department is available to assist you in English and French via phone or email, Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (ET).
Mainpro+ credits should be uploaded within the current credit cycle to count toward the mandatory Mainpro+ credit requirements. The Mainpro+ credit cycle runs July 1st – June 30th.
Finding a Mainpro+ certified activity is easy with the advanced activity search feature in your Mainpro+ account. View step-by-step instructions (with pictures) on searching for and claiming activities (certified & non-certified) here.
See below for general steps:
Start by clicking the “Enter CPD Activity” button located in both the top left corner of your Mainpro+ account and under the “Quick Links” tab. This will open a 3-step search that allows you to find and select the attended program and properly upload your Mainpro+ credits.
Step 1: Select the proper category, certification type, activity type and program delivery method of the program (found on your certificate of attendance).
Step 2: Search by using any combination of the four fields: event title (full or partial title), session ID (found on your certificate of attendance), city and/or activity date. For example, if you know only part of the activity title and the city, Mainpro+ will provide you with a filtered list of options.
Step 3: In the list of “Search Results”, find the program you are looking for and then click “Select.”
If you do not see the program listed, you can search again or click the button beside “Don’t see your activity?” to enter the credit details manually.
