Biography

Caroline graduated from McMaster Family Medicine residency in 2005 and has been practicing comprehensive Family Medicine in Wasaga Beach since that time. Since 2021, Caroline has been teaching McMaster Rural stream Family Medicine residents about mental health and behavioural science.

After being diagnosed with MS in 2017, Caroline has dedicated herself to finding a balance that provides meaningful contribution at work, while allowing time for rest and recovery. This is a work in progress! She is very interested in creating a culture of belonging in medicine, and has used her story as a way to open up conversations with both residents and colleagues.

Outside of work, Caroline loves hiking, skiing, reading and spending time with her husband and two kids.
