Dr. Anita Greig

Dr. Anita Greig MD FCFP is a family physician in Toronto. She is the primary author of the Greig Health Record, an evidenced-base preventive care tool for children and adolescents ages 6 to 17 years. The record has been endorsed by the Canadian Paediatric Society and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. The tool is used as a template for and guide to child and adolescent preventive care. This tool is now used across Canada by family doctors, nurse practitioners and paediatricians. Dr. Greig was awarded the CFPC’s Award of Excellence for this work. Recently her work has expanded to a new tool for ages 18 to 24, The Greig Health Record for Young Adults which has also been endorsed by the CFPC. Dr. Greig is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. She teaches medical students and residents and has won a number of teaching awards. She is the lead physician for the Otter Creek Family Health Organization.
