Happy World Family Doctor Day from the OCFP 

Today, on World Family Doctor Day, we are celebrating you. 

Across Ontario, more than 18,000 family physicians, residents, and medical students are caring for patients, supporting communities, and strengthening our health care system. 

This year’s theme, Family Doctors: Driving Innovation in Health Care, reflects what we see in practice. You are reimagining care, solving challenges, and finding new ways to meet the needs of the patients you care for. 

Innovation in family medicine is not abstract. It is how you adapt, navigate a complex system, and continue to improve care in meaningful ways. 

To mark the day, we are proud to share a short video highlighting the innovation happening in family medicine across Ontario.
