Chief Medical Officer of Health shares important information regarding non-susceptible gonorrhea

As a result of recent international identification of a multidrug-resistant strain of Neisseria gonorrhoeae as well as one positive Ontario patient with no known travel history, the CMOH is communicating with all public health units and healthcare workers providing sexual health care, including family physicians, to support your clinical care of patients with symptoms consistent with gonorrhea infection.
