December 9, 2026 | 8:00 am to 9:00 am

Fibromyalgia presents unique challenges for both patients and clinicians, with fluctuating symptoms, overlapping comorbidities, and significant impacts on quality of life and function. This session will equip family physicians with practical strategies to assess and diagnose fibromyalgia, recognize common coexisting conditions, and implement effective management plans. Participants will also explore approaches to supporting patients with disability-related documentation, improving the care experience, and reducing the frustration and burnout often associated with managing chronic pain conditions.

The Practising Well Community of Practice has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 1 Mainpro+Ⓡcredits.
