Virtual Event
March 15, 2024 to April 12, 2024
Join us for a series of small group learning sessions where family physicians are encouraged to celebrate successes and explore the challenges they experience practicing family medicine.
Program Benefits
- Explore approaches that relate to the issues you experience when caring for people with mental health, substance use disorders and/or chronic pain.
- Gain strategies to find joy in your work amidst the challenges you face in the healthcare system.
- Consider ways to bring ease to supporting patients in the areas where you face difficulties.
Four different groups are being offered:
- Female Family Physicians in the First Ten Years of Practice
- Ontario Family Physicians from All Stages and Practice Models
- Family Physicians in their First Five to Ten Years of Practice
- Support For Physicians Living with Chronic Illness and/or Disability
These will be closed groups, with a maximum of ten participants and will be co-facilitated by two Peer Guides who will lead the discussion. Groups will run for one year and meet once every four to six weeks for 1.5 hours.
The deadline to register for a small group is Friday, April 12, 2024.
