SUMMARY:Osteoporosis and Fracture Prevention Workshop - October 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join this interactive workshop to build your skills in the assessment\, treatment and prevention of osteoporosis-related fractures in primary care. Through expert-led discussion\, case-based learning and practical clinical tools\, participants will explore evidence-informed approaches to fracture risk assessment\, BMD interpretation\, treatment selection and ongoing patient management. Attendees will leave with actionable resources and strategies that can be applied immediately in practice. \n\n\n\nVisit our workshop page to learn more about learning objectives and benefits of this workshop. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWorkshop Details\n\n\n\nDate: Wednesday\, October 14 \, 2026 \n\n\n\nDelivery Format: Online \n\n\n\nTime: 12:00pm – 3:00pm EST \n\n\n\nCost: $195+ HST   \n\n\n\nReflective Follow-Up Meeting: 1:00 PM-2:00 PM EST on Wednesday\, November 18\, 2026 \n\n\n\nThe 1 hour online reflective follow-up meeting will provide an opportunity to revisit real‑world challenges and successes after implementing the strategies covered in the workshop. Participants can bring forward any questions or uncertainties that emerged in their workflow. Attendance is optional.
